Recently, CDYSL advised area indoor facilities that they would no longer sanction indoor facilities. In the past CDYSL has mandated that area youth teams register with Eastern New York and CDYSL prior to playing indoors. We have always felt that this process was premature as it required teams to finalize rosters way before the start of the outdoor CDYSL league play.

 We at Afrim’s Sports’ have been running indoor youth leagues for 20 years and have always had proper insurance coverage for all our youth players. Afrim’s Sports insurance coverage is the same coverage as CDYSL and Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association. Afrim’s Sports’ insurance certificate is produced through Bollingers Insurance who underwrites insurance for the Eastern New York Soccer Association, the entire US Club Soccer program, and many of the top youth soccer associations throughout the country.

 All players must have a registration/player card which can be produced at either Afrim’s Sports location for your convenience.

 There is no charge for registration of youth players since our sponsors have covered the fee for this year.

 What this means to area youth teams:

• You can sign up and play indoors at Afrim’s Sports effective immediately and don’t have to register with CDYSL.

• While playing indoors at Afrim’s Sports, you will have the same insurance coverage as CDYSL at no additional cost.

• Afrim’s Sports will register players and produce player cards to ensure roster integrity. This process will be done at either of our facilities for your convenience.

• To assist you in getting your team registered and ready for Session 1 we are offering a free hour of indoor practice time. Just call us at 438-3131

• Afrim’s Sports has the most soccer experienced referee’s in the Capital District area and maintains a US Indoor Referee trainer on staff.

• Afrim’s Sports will honor any membership Player Card from any Capital Region indoor facility.
