Purpose of the Program
To provide players with regular, high quality instruction, from some of the best coaches
in the Capital District area so that the players can compete at higher levels (state and
regional ODP, college, premier teams etc.)
Training Information
Training will take place on Monday’s for players born 1996-1999 and on Tuesday’s for
players born 2000-2001 during the winter months at Afrim’s Sports in Latham. There
will be a total of
21-75 minute indoor training sessions and 5-90 minute outdoor
2000-2001: Tuesday at 5:30pm-6:45 pm
1998-1999: Monday at 5:30-6:45pm
1996-1997: Monday at 6:45pm-8:00pm
Cost:
$300 for 21-75 minute sessions

The academy training will continue at an outdoor site TBA starting on Monday April 25-
Monday May 23 (No training on Memorial Day) for all age groups starting at 6:30pm.
A limited amount of financial aid for families that have an expressed need is available.

Payment Options:
1. Payment in full at the time of registration
2. Three payments for $100, the first due at the time of registration, the second due
December 1, 2010 and the last due January 1, 2011.

Coaching Staff:
Mark Green
Mark Green has been coaching soccer in England since 1993. He has coached at
Nottingham Forest F.C. and Derby County F.C. working with the Academy players who
are trying to become Professional Soccer Players. Mark has also coached in the
Community Department where he was responsible for delivering coaching session in
schools. He also ran coaching courses for children during the school holidays, where up
to 100 children would take part. Mark is a specialized goal keeper Coach. Two of his
Nottingham Forest Academy keepers have gone on to play Professional for Nottingham
Forest. He is presently coaching for Red Bull New York in the Albany area. One of his
roles is to improve the standard of players in the Capital Region.
Will Graham
Will Graham
Keynes Dons Football Club, working with their Youth Academy and their Community
Program. He has also worked with the clubs U12 and U14 boys’, representing the Club
in providing expert training in the Buckinghamshire area. For the last 3 years, Will has
been coaching with the New York Red Bulls Training Programs. He is currently based
out of Brunswick, NY, and has worked closely with the Brunswick Soccer Club,
providing training to teams from U6 up to U19 boys and girls. He has also spent 2
seasons as the Assistant Coach and Trainer to the Emma Willard Girls Varsity Team. In
the 2009 season, Will assisted the team to an undefeated 13-0-1 record in their regular
season. Will Graham began playing at the age of 5 for the famous UK Youth Club,
Wallsend Boys, in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. (Notable famous players to have
played for Wallsend Boys are: Alan Shearer, Paul Gascoigne, Chris Waddle, Michael
Carrick) At the age of 12, he moved to Buckinghamshire and played at a local level. At
14, he represented his County for 3 years.

Stephen Hogan
Stephen holds licenses from, Ireland FA Level 1 Coaching Badge, USSF National “C”
License ’10, USSF National “D” License. His coaching experience includes being
the Girls Technical Director of Rage Soccer Club, Super Y U13 and U17 Girls at Rage
Soccer Club, Oversee 29 youth teams including PAGS, DELCO and Super Y League.
Stephen playing experience was with the Reading United (PDL) 2007 - Present *Captain
2008,2009*, Palm Beach Pumas (PDL) 2006, Martin Methodist College (NAIA) 2004 -
2008, Ireland Junior International Squad 2000, Dublin Regional Representative Squad

Charlie Curto
Charlie Curto was former head coach at Siena College.
was active as a coach in the professional ranks. He served as the technical advisor to the
Albany Capitals of the American Soccer League for three years, and in 1990, he served
as the head coach of the New York Kick of the National Professional Soccer League
